- Roy Kenagy is administrator of the Central Iowa Library Service Area (CILSA). Roy's library degree is from the University of Illinois. He began his library career in 1977 as a reference librarian and has worked in mid- to large-sized public libraries as head of reference, head of public services, and assistant director. He worked at the State Library of Iowa for eight years, first as a consultant and then as Information Services Manager. He has been administrator of CILSA since 2002. Roy is a nationally recognized consultant in library collection development, and has extensive practical experience in reference and adult services, children's services, library buildings, library programming, and library automation.
